High Wind Expected To Diminish Tonight

A windstorm that’s been forecast for a couple days hit Kodiak early this morning with a vengance. The wind was gusting well over 100 miles per hour in Saint Herman Harbor before noon. Kodiak Harbormaster Marty Owen dropped by the KMXT studio this morning and we talked with Jay Barrett about the chaos on the waterfront:

Owen is asking that all boat owners check on their boats, but be careful, the floats are very icy and the wind is strong.
