KMXT 100.1 FM Public Radio in Kodiak, Alaska
The Kodiak Chamber of Commerce has two new faces on its board of directors. Rhonda Maker, who owns The Treasury and The Treasury Home, and Lindsay Knight, owner of the Kodiak Athletic Club, were appointed after being elected by the chamber board yesterday. Maker and Knight are filling out the terms of David King and Andy Teuber, who left the board recently.
Both are ready to serve the chamber’s member businesses and the community:

Maker has been a strong advocate for businesses downtown, and has not been shy about disagreeing with the Chamber of Commerce on occasion:

Knight said he ran the Anchorage Chamber’s “Ambassador Program” for six years, which organized business after hours and other programs to generate interest and excitement in the organization. He calls himself a cheerleader for the chamber of commerce:

The pair will hold office until February, when King and Teuber’s terms were to expire. The next regular chamber board meeting will be on June 16th.
