In second-round action today, the Lady Bears took to the court at 8 a.m. and downed the Mariners 48-to-32. Rachel Norton had 16 points and Betsy McCarty added 15. They will play Saturday morning at 9 a.m. against the loser of the Colony-Palmer game this afternoon. Homer has been eliminated.
At 9:45 this morning the Skyview and Kenai boys faced off, with the Kardinals running away 54-33, eliminating the Panthers.
The Kodiak boys see action again this afternoon at 1:15 p.m., when they face Homer. The losing team is out.
