Tuesday night, candidates for the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly answered a lineup of questions at a debate that KMXT hosted alongside the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce. The seats on the assembly are the only competitive positions in the upcoming Kodiak Island Borough municipal election.
Kyle Crow, Chris Lynch, and Dennis Symmons are running for two seats of 3-year terms and Mel Stephens and Jonathan Strong are running for one seat of a 1-year term. Here are some excerpts from yesterday’s debate with moderator and Chamber Board of Directors president, Lindsay Knight.
