Fishermen suffered a big loss in Tuesday’s election with the defeat of Ballot Measure 1.

The price of salmon permits is down. So too, are the prices for halibut quotas.

Governor Walker demands Canada protect Alaska’s fish from across-the-border mines.

Plus, the pros and cons of being a fisherman’s wife.
