Coast Guard Assists Drifting Equinox

Casey Kelly/KMXT The Coast Guard cutter Spar is assisting a disabled fishing vessel that lost power about 270 miles southeast of Kodiak over the weekend. The crew of the 58-foot Equinox, a Petersburg-based longliner, reported early Sunday morning that the vessel’s engine had lost power.
