Fisherman Hoisted from Bering Sea Vessel

Jay Barrett/KMXT A Kodiak-based Coast Guard helicopter crew hoisted a 52-year-old man from the fishing vessel Katie Ann Thursday afternoon. He was reportedly suffering from symptoms of internal bleeding. Legislation Creates Glitch in Kodiak Parking Enforcement

Brianna Gibbs/KMXT Cruise ship season has officially kicked off in Kodiak. The Crystal Symphony called on Alaska’s emerald isle early Tuesday morning, and brought with it 480 passengers and 550 crew members. Despite the rain, hundreds of tourists were able to explore the downtown area. KMXT’s Brianna Gibbs caught up with some of them and filed this report.
