Malutin Appointed to PWS RCAC Board

New Chenega Bay Rep Also Named

Kodiak’s Iver Malutin will be representing the Kodiak Village Mayor’s Association on the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens Advisory Committee. RCAC spokesman Stan Jones announced that change, among others Tuesday.

Malutin replaces Jim Nestic.

The oil industry watchdog group also reappointed the entire executive committee at the group’s May board meeting Thursday and Friday in Valdez.

Patience Andersen Faulkner of Cordova was re-elected president, while Steve Lewis of Seldovia will continue to serve as vice-president, John French of Seward will remain treasurer and Marilynn Heddell of Whittier will stay on as secretary. The executive committee also includes Blake Johnson, Dorothy Moore and Walter Parker.

Donald Kompkoff is the new representative from Chenega Bay.
