The Alaska Fisheries Report With Casey Kelly June 19

Casey Kelly/KMXT

From KMXT in Kodiak, this is the Alaska Fisheries Report. Coming up this week…

Across the state, the salmon are either really late or really weak. Either way fishery managers are switching into conservation mode.

We’ll take a look at the situation from Southeast to Kodiak to the Yukon River.

Also, we’ll talk with the head of Fish and Game’s commercial fisheries division about what factors contribute to a runs relative timing and strength.

Those stories and more coming up on this week’s Alaska Fisheries Report.

Thanks for joining us.
