From KMXT in Kodiak, this is the Alaska Fisheries Report.

Coming up this week…..

Upper Cook Inlet fishermen are getting surprising sockeye salmon catches.

The Bristol Bay area is seeing a healthy run of salmon this year, but processors weren’t prepared to handle it.

Salmon runs on the Yukon River are improving, but not up to par.

And the state’s habitat division moved back to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Those stories and more coming up on the Alaska Fisheries Report.

I’m Mary Donaldson.

Thanks for joining me.
