Kodiak High School cross country phenom Trevor Dunbar has done it again. Two weeks after winning the Adidas Classic in Portland, Oregon, Dunbar was in Walnut, California for the Mt. SAC Invitational over the weekend.

Running in 80-degree heat, Dunbar still managed to blow the competition away, finishing with a time of 14 minutes 41 seconds, 5 seconds faster than second place finisher Chris Schwartz, a senior from Foothill High in Bakersfield, California. The third place finisher was Elias Gedyon of Loyola High School in Loyola, California, who set the course record for a sophomore with a time of 14:48.

Dunbar was the only boy from Alaska to run in the Mt. SAC race. He is currently considering colleges, including some of the top cross country schools in the nation. He’s reportedly set to visit Oklahoma State University in two weeks. OSU is the number three team in the nation, behind number two Stanford and number one Oregon.
