Gorgeous weather over the Labor Day weekend marked the end of a beautiful summer on Kodiak. Clear and sunny skies were the backdrop for every imaginable type of outdoor activity. From kayaking , surfing and fishing to wild cow milking it was all happening on the Rock. Road Construction slowed but couldn’t stop the flow of people eager to get outdoors and soak up the sun.

On Saturday and Sunday the Kodiak rodeo and State Fair drew big crowds. It was a chance to show off skills, cheer for ropers and riders or just enjoy the sunshine.
