An accident this morning resulted in minor injuries for one driver. According to Lieutenant Kyle Valerio, Kodiak Police received a call shortly before 8 o’clock this morning about an accident that occurred near Saint. Paul’s church. A driver on Rezanof was heading away from town when the hood of his truck flew up, obstructing his view. Valerios said that the driver then crossed over the center line and side-swiped a vehicle that was heading the opposite direction. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with what Valerio said appeared to be minor injuries. He said that the driver of the truck was not injured.Kodiak police and the Kodiak Fire Department responded to the accident.
