Gypsy Influenced “Les Yeux Noir” Performs Tonight

Diana Gish/KMXT

Tonight the Kodiak Arts Council concludes this season’s performing arts series with a concert by the band Les Yeux Noir.

Last night the band offered a master class workshop to local musicians. The leader of the band, who referred to himself as just "Eric" started playing the violin at age five and has now been playing for 37 years.

Eric’s enthusiasm for music is matched by his excitement to be in Kodiak.

At yesterday’s workshop in the Kodiak High School band room, The leader of Les Yeux Noir described how he feels about making music and sharing it with others.

Les yeux Noir performs tonight only at 7 p.m. at the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium. Tickets are available at the Artist’s eye and at the door.
