Two Kodiak bodybuilding champions earned new titles over the weekend. Veteran bodybuilder Lindsay Knight and newcomer Valene Wilde are bringing back trophies from the Idaho Gold’s Classic.

For Wilde, the event was a victorious return to her home town of Boise. She claimed the Women’s Open competition and the Best Poser award in front of family and friends

(Bodybuilders 1 "That’s what made … through for me.")

Participants in the event go through a series of mandatory poses and then demonstrate those poses in a choreographed routine. Wilde performed her poses to Lady Gaga’s, "Bad Romance." This is the novice bodybuilder’s second competition. So far she’s "two for two" in the winner’s circle.

Knight, who has earned multiple titles in his long career, also scored big in Boise. As an added bonus, he got to check off an item on his bodybuilding "to-do" list.

(Bodybuilders 3 "I won the … it was fun.")

The Idaho Gold’s Classic is the second competition this Spring for the successful duo. Knight said that after an upcoming show in Kenai, his plan is to turn his focus to others.

(Bodybuilders 4 "I have a …inspire some folks.")

Wilde, who started weight conditioning four years ago is 46. Knight, who’s the owner of the Kodiak Athletic Club is 59.
