KMXT 100.1 FM Public Radio in Kodiak, Alaska
ComFish 2010 opens today at 10 a.m. in downtown Kodiak. The Fisheries tradeshow takes place in the Kodiak Harbor Convention Center. The fisheries policy forums are all taking place in the Kodiak Island Best Western.
Laine Welch is one of the organizers of the forums. She shared a run-down of today’s events.

The Afternoon policy forums begin at 1 p.m. and end at 3:15 today.

The seafood reception featuring appetizers by Chef Joel Chenet will also take place in the Best Western.
That event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tonight.
