KMXT’s Run the Rock marathon, half-marathon and 5K will take place on Saturday, October 9th.That means there are 12 and a half weeks left to train for the event. To provide some encouragement and motivation, three of Kodiak’s many fitness professionals appeared on KMXT’s Talk of the Rock yesterday.

They talked about fitness and training and why they love to share what they do with others.

Pauline Hsieh is new to Kodiak. She’s a runner and she teaches Hatha yoga at A Balanced Approach. < ![endif]--> < ![endif]-->

(Fitness 1 "I think I …or anything else.)

Kodiak’s cross country coach Marcus Dunbar is known for training champions but he also likes to support runners of all levels.

(Fitness 2 "We have a… everybody improves.")

Lindsay Knight is a champion body builder and the owner of the Kodiak Athletic Club. He addressed the fitness goal that many people strive for: wellness of mind, body and spirit.

(Fitness 3 "In my mind … to be like.")

And that’s a sample of the conversation with three Kodiak fitness professionals heard Tuesday on KMXT’s"Talk of the Rock." If you’d like to hear more you can listen on-line to "Talk of the Rock: Inspiration and Perspiration" on www.kmxt.org.
