The Chiniak Highway will be closed at Lash Dock early Saturday morning.
Alaska Aerospace says a rocket booster shipment is coming in that will require the road be closed at Lash between 5 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday.
Emergency traffic will be allowed through the closure.
From 10 a.m. until about 5 p.m. drivers can expect one-lane traffic near the transport vehicles as they make their way overland to Pasagshak.
