The weather this summer has really been the pits. Rain and clouds, and clouds and rain.
It’s taken its toll on both people and plants around town. But some Kodiak gardeners were able to see tremendous results despite the rain. They opened up their yards and gardens to residents and fellow gardeners during this weekend’s garden tour.
KMXT’s Maggie Wall was at Darlene Turner’s house on Three Sisters Way. Maggie’s job was to pass out miniature banana muffins to the soggy visitors.
Despite the rain, she was able to get comments from a number of garden enthusiasts.
