KMXT 100.1 FM Public Radio in Kodiak, Alaska
Homes and businesses beyond Bell’s Flats were still without power this morning, after an outage sometime yesterday.
Kodiak Electric Association’s president Darron Scott says linemen searched for the cause of the outage until dark last night and resumed this morning. Weather permitting, helicopters may be used in the repair effort.
The outage affects the Chiniak and Pasagshak distribution line.
