USCG Helping Santa Visit Villages This Week

The Coast Guard and Santa Claus will be collaborating this week to deliver toys and other goods to children in Kodiak’s remote villages, says Petty Officer Charly Hengen.

The first visit is to Ouzinkie and Danger Bay on Monday. On Tuesday children in Port Lions will get a visit. Wednesday has a planned trip to Akhiok. On Thursday, there will be flights to Karluk and Larsen Bay and Friday has a visit planned for Chiniak. A PDF of the full schedule can be viewed here.
