Kodiak prides itself on the number of active community members who pitch in to make the town a better place to live–from volunteers to business which support local projects small and large to address needs and challenges.
Most people in town can name a few people whom they think "deserve some award" and the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce wants to know who those deserving people are.
In conjunction with the its annual meeting next month, the chamber of commerce will recognize businesses and individuals for their outstanding support of the chamber and of the Kodiak community.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Monday.
Lindsey Howell is the community relations director for the chamber:
-(((Chamber Awards 1 :18 "The Chamber….of the year.")))
