The Kodiak High School swimming and diving team won both the girls and boys Region III titles over the weekend. The Lady Bears did it in impressive style. They set six regional records at the meet in Palmer. Four were individual records and two were in relays.

Coach John Lindquist, who was named Coach of the Year, says the girls are seeded very well for this weekend’s state meet.

The state championship is Friday and Saturday in Anchorage at the Bartlett High School pool.
