Exxon Valdez Sold for Scrap

The infamous Exxon Valdez ship has been sold for scrap, according to the Dallas Morning News. The tanker, which had gone through six name changes- most recently dubbed Oriental Nicety, was sold for $16 million and is on its way to Singapore. You can find more details here.

This Saturday marks the 23rd anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill.
