Coming up this week, more on the truncated and disappointing Sitka Sound Sac Roe Herring season, Senator Begich is pushing a replacement program in case the J-1 Student Worker Visa Program is ended, and Alaska Seafood exports were way up last year. All that, plus don’t count on the Pile Bay Road this spring, and at least the Legislature passed a geoduck bill while they were in session. We had help this week from KCAW’s Ed Ronco in Sitka and KMXT’s Jennifer Canfield in Kodiak.
