She said this month’s first Friday will feature a handful of locations with dozens of local artists showcasing their work.

— (Art Walk 2 :58 “The Harborside is putting on… show and it’s right in the auditorium foyer.”)

Helligso said you don’t necessarily have to walk to all the locations, or visit them.

— (Art Walk 3 :37 “You definitely don’t have to go to all of them…beautiful, I saw a photo of them.”)

Other downtown locations include Dead Humpy Gallery and the Kodiak Island Brewing Company.

— (Art Walk 4 :39 “Alf Pryor and…for art. And this month the artist is going to be Carol Scott.”)

Helligso said if this art walk is a success then the next one will most likely be in January. She said anyone who is ever interested in getting involved with the art walks or anything the arts council puts together can always contact her.
The art walk kicks off at 5 p.m. tomorrow night (tonight) and will go until 7 p.m.
