NCAA Cross Country Championships Include Kodiak Runners

The NCAA held its Cross Country running championships over the weekend, and at least two former Kodiak High School runners were in contention.
Dylan Anthony, running for the University of Alaska Anchorage in Division 2, was 23rd in the Mens 10,000 meter race held in Joplin, Missouri. He had a time of 30-minutes 9-seconds. His teammate, Micah Chelimo, won the race in 28-minutes 56-seconds. The Seawolves were third overall, behind Adams State and Colorado School of Mines.
The UAA girls were sixth overall.
Kodiak’s Trevor Dunbar was 41st in the Division 1 race, held in Louisville, Kentucky, with a time of 30-minutes 4-seconds. His Oregon Ducks finished 20th as a team. Oklahoma State took the team title.
