KMXT 100.1 FM Public Radio in Kodiak, Alaska
A Pier III update, ambulance purchase presentation and nonprofit grant requests are just a few of the many items on the Kodiak City Council’s work session agenda tonight.
Last month the council passed the 2014 budget, which included an ambulance and fire engine purchase. Tonight the council will hear about those purchases, and get an update on the new library capital campaign. Other items on the agenda include a discussion of sales tax proceeds and advisory board interviews. The council will also be reviewing the agenda for Thursday’s regular meeting.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the borough conference room. Public comments will be taken at the beginning and are limited to three minutes per speaker.
