Alaska is fertile ground for so-called reality television shows. There have been shows following Bering Sea crabbers, the Alaska State Troopers and the U.S. Coast Guard. Now you can add “Alaskan Steel Men” – about industrial welders based in Kodiak – to the list starting tonight (Friday) on the Discovery Channel.
