Bears Take Robin Hervey Title

Eight Kodiak wrestlers took individual titles in the 37th annual Robin Hervey Tournament in Kodiak, leading the Bears to the team title as well.
Kodiak racked up 197 points, while West Anchorage was second with 154. Bartlett was third with 114, Dimond followed with 109 and Eagle River brought up the rear with 106 points.
The Bears’ champions were Yuto Ohki at 98 pounds, Joel Valdez at 113, Andrew Caballa at 120, Jay-Ar Small at 126, Joshua Lochman at 160, Kerry Powers at 195, Hunter McKee at 220 and Leo Sega at 285.
