Last weekend marked the start of the seasonal farmer’s market. Every Saturday from now until September, Kodiak’s crafters, growers and small business entrepreneurs gather at the Fairgrounds to buy, sell and trade goods. KMXT’s news intern, Marina Cummiskey, was at Saturday’s market and collected these voices. Folks can check out the market for themselves each Saturday at 11 a.m. The market typically runs until 2 p.m., or when things start selling out – which is usually pretty quick, so people should try to get there close to 11 a.m.
