It’s a full agenda for the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly tonight.
This will be the first regular meeting for newly elected assembly members Dan Rohrer, Larry LeDoux and Rebecca Skinner. Under new business, there will be a reorganization of the assembly, including the nomination and election of a deputy presiding officer – the person that will lead meetings in Mayor Jerrol Friend’s absence.
Also on tonight’s agenda are contracts for fire and rescue mutual aid agreements between the City, Bayside and Womens Bay Fire Departments. The assembly will also review and vote on a legislative consultant contract for the upcoming legislative session.
Tonight’s meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the borough assembly chambers and will be broadcast live on KMXT.
