Kodiak locals join salmon conservation group

A group aimed at salmon sustainability met in Petersburg late last month. The Alaska Salmon Fellows program is in its second year, and now includes two Kodiak fellows. One is Toby Sullivan, a commercial fisherman and the executive director of the Kodiak Maritime Museum.

KMXT sat down with him this week.

That was KMXT talking with Toby Sullivan, a member of this year’s Alaska Salmon Fellows program, which is working toward sustainability for the state’s salmon population. They’ll meet again in Kodiak in October.
