Three candidates are running to be Representative of House District 32 in the upcoming Alaska Primary Election. They participated this week in a candidate forum. Dennis Harris, Incumbent Republican Louise Stutes, and Rich Walker are all vying for the same seat.

They answered a series of questions at a forum hosted by the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce, the Kodiak Daily Mirror, and KMXT in the borough assembly chambers Tuesday night. Chamber director Frank Schiro moderated.

Here are some of the questions and excerpts from the candidates’ answers, presented in alphabetical order: Dennis Harris, Louise Stutes, and Rich Walker.

The Alaska Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21, and the general election is in November.
