Council considers streamlining lease agreements

The Kodiak City Council this evening will hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance intended to streamline the process of OK-ing routine leases.

That’s the only public hearing set for tonight’s regular council meeting. Other items on the agenda include several repeat agreements between the city and borough. These include services for animal control, Enhanced 911 service, and sharing the local building inspection services.

Also on the agenda is a change order for Brechan Enterprise dealing with pavement repairs, and a bid to Knight Technology Group, a Georgia-based firm, for Microsoft Office software.

Tonight’s regular council meeting begins at 7:30 in the Borough Assembly Chambers.

KMXT will broadcast the meeting live.
