Kodiak gets weekend dump of snow, though much melted by heavy rains

The forecast calls for cold temps next few days, but Kodiak had perfect snowman and snowball making fluff on Friday night and Saturday morning.

This photo was taken about 4 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Maggie Wall’s house on the “sunny side” of Bells Flats.

Though it was nearly a foot deep on the deck railing, the rains had already melted it some, then by 10 a.m. virtually all of the snow on the rail was gone.
