Ferry Kennicott will be delayed until after April 4 — Passengers need to reschedule

BREAKING  KMXT just received a notice that the ferry Kennicott will need extra time to complete its annual overhaul and repairs.

The vessel’s March 21 – April 3 sailings are cancelled.

Alaska Marine Highway System anticipates the Kennicott will resume regular scheduled service with the April 4 departure from Ketchikan to Bellingham.

All passengers are being notified now and being rebooked or refunded as necessary, according to AMHS press release.
