Final Kodiak College meet-and-greet Monday, hopes to hire Director soon

The final of three community meet-and-greets will be held at the college this evening.

The college is hosting the three finalists for the position of Kodiak College Director as it works to hire and get a new person onboard this summer.

“Absolutely. And typically the contractual year for a person in administration would be July 1.”

That’s Betty Walters, the Acting Director for Kodiak College.

“I don’t know what the plan would be on campus at UAA but I’m sure any time between the start of the semester which would be mid to late August. But certainly being on campus at that time would be important.”

This evening’s public meet-and-greet for the last of three finalists for the College Director well be held 5:30 to 6:30 at the Campus Center.
