Wednesday’s cruise ship is the Seabourn Sojourn

Kodiak is port-of-call today for the cruise ship Seabourn Sojourn which is scheduled to be in town from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The luxury ship is 650 feet long, 84 feet wide and holds 229 suites.

According to the ship’s webpage, the Sojourn boast an ingenious “living room” that replaces the traditional cruise ship lobby with a welcoming lounge. Like most living rooms, it includes sofas, easy chairs, and cocktail tables.

The company’s website says Seabourn pioneered small-ship luxury cruises and boasts a fleet of intimate, all-suite ships which carry between 458 and 600 guests each.

The Sojourn is the only cruise ship schedule for Kodiak this week, though next week we are expected to have three.
