[BREAKING] KMXT will air Governor Dunleavy’s budget cut announcements, live stream from Juneau starts at 11 a.m.

People around Alaska are awaiting the result of Governor Mike Dunleavy’s line item vetoes to the state’s budget. He plans to announce those cuts this morning.

The governor will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. to sign the state’s operating budget for the year which begins on July 1.

KTOO public radio in Juneau will live stream the event and provide commentary.  If the press conference ends before 11:30 a.m. they will carry on discussion until 11:30 a.m. If Dunleavy speaks until after 11:30 a.m., KTOO will continue with perspectives and summary of the cuts until noon.
