The Holland America ship Amsterdam is in Kodiak today. It arrived early this morning and is expected to stay until 2 this afternoon.
If the ship looks familiar it could be because it was here twice in June.
The Amsterdam measure roughly 780 feet long and can carry up to 1,380 passengers and a crew of almost 650.
According to the vessel’s webpage, it is this third in the Holland America fleet to carry the name Amsterdam. It’s described as an elegant mid-size ship that includes a three story atrium
