On the agenda: tonight’s City Council meeting

Kodiak City Council is having a meeting tonight at 7:30 pm in Borough Assembly Chambers.

On the agenda tonight, the city council will name election workers for the upcoming municipal elections next month. They will also be appointing a new member to the Kodiak Fisheries Development Association.

There are also three permits up for approval to allow excavation on Near Island, one for Golden Alaska Excavating, LLC for the Trident Basin Quarry, and one each for Brechan Construction and B&R Fish By-Products for the Near Island Breakwater Quarry.

As always, there will be an opportunity for citizen comments at the beginning and end of the meeting. KMXT will broadcast the meeting live at 7:30 pm.
