Election Coverage — Borough Elections as of 9:15 p.m.

With most of the Kodiak Island Borough voting precincts reporting Bill Roberts is in the lead to be the new borough mayor. As of 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Roberts lead challenger Sandra Katelnikoff-Lester 874 votes to 402.

In the race for Borough Assembly Scott Arndt leads with 780 votes. Next is Duane Dvorak with 757, and Mel Stephens with 593.

And finally, Julie Cain Hill has a large lead in her race for the one school board seat available. She has 979 to Cejie Benoit’s 251.

Remember, these are unofficial results as of 9:15 p.m. KMXT obtained by going to the Borough Assembly Chambers. As shown, it is the election vote tally as seen on the big screen at election headquarters.
