Warning, which is in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to 5 AM AKST
Saturday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of
7 to 11 inches. Northeast winds 30 to 40 mph becoming Northwest
with gusts as high as 50 mph in exposed locations. Visibilities
one quarter mile or less at times.

snow could significantly reduce visibility with drifting snow
  likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest road conditions call 5 1 1 or visit
511.alaska.gov.

A blizzard warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to white-out
conditions, making travel very difficult. All travel and outdoor
activity is strongly discouraged.
