Kodiak COVID-19 case reported off island

A new case of COVID-19 has been reported. This one involves someone from the Kodiak region, who tested positive while off the island.

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization says this person will remain off island during an isolation period.

Staff from the Department of Public Health will stay in contact during this time to ensure self-isolation and care.

This latest report brings the total number of cases since April to 72.  Two of those are currently classified as active locally,
