Kodiak sees two new cases of COVID-19: Yearly total climbs to 76

The Kodiak Island Borough COVID-19 count has risen to 76, with two new cases reported on Tuesday.

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization says both are connected. The first case involves someone from Kodiak and is travel-related. The second person is a close contact of the first.

Both have been isolated. The Department of Public Health has also identified their contacts and remains in touch with those people to ensure self-isolation and care

Three cases are considered active locally.
