Kodiak COVID-19 Count: 95 cases as of Tuesday

The COVID-19 count for the Kodiak region is now up to 95 cases since April.

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization reported a new case today (Tuesday) involving a Kodiak resident. There is no information available yet on how this person contracted the virus. The emergency services group would only say that the case is still under investigation and the person is in isolation.

Currently twelve cases are considered active locally, down from Friday, when there were 18 active cases.  A new infection was reported on Friday, involving someone who was a close contact of a previously reported case.
