Kodiak COVID-19 Count: One new case

The Kodiak region has had its second COVID-19 case this week.

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization reported its most recent case this Wednesday morning.

It says this one involves a person who had traveled recently and is currently in isolation.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases for the Kodiak Island Borough since April to 96.

There are currently 13 cases classified as active locally.
