A cluster of new COVID-19 cases has been reported in the Kodiak Island Borough.
The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization says out of four cases, three involve Kodiak residents who recently traveled. The other person, also from Kodiak, has been classified as community spread.
This brings the total number of cases reported in the region since April to 102, with six considered active.
All close contacts have been identified and staff from the Department of Health will remain in touch with those involved to ensure self-isolation and care.
