KODIAK COVID: Three new travel-related cases

Three new cases of COVID-19 involving Kodiak residents were reported on Tuesday. Since Friday, there have been a total of eight reported in the region.

The Kodiak Area Emergency Services Organization says the three most recent cases are all travel-related, with a contact investigation underway.

Since the first outbreak in April, there are now a total of 106 cases counted in the Kodiak Island Borough.  Eight are classified as currently active.
